Welcome to the State Managers Conference Website…

The theme for this year’s event is “Lean Times, Creative Minds." Our jobs as managers in state government are presenting challenges far beyond what we may have experienced in the past. Along with these challenges come opportunities to think and work differently -- uncertainty, and ambiguity and shrinking budgets can actually provide fertile ground for new ideas, creativity, and innovation. This year’s agenda presents topics to help us improve our work processes while being mindful of the need for true leadership and a focus on what matters most.

We look forward to seeing you on October 28!
