Instructions for Registering for “Road to Resilience: Moving Forward on All-Hazards and Pandemic Planning”

July 27 – 28, 2011

  1.  In order to register for this conference, you must have a MN.TRAIN account.
  2. Log into your personal MN.TRAIN account at http://mn.train.org.
    1. If you do not have a personal MN.TRAIN account, go to http://mn.train.org/. Click on “Create Account” button. Any box with a Red Asterisk* is required information.
  3. After logging into your MN.TRAIN account, enter “1027849” in the “Search By Course ID” box on the right side of the screen. Click “Go.” 
  4.  Click on the title of the conference “Road to Resilience: Moving Forward on All-Hazards and Pandemic Planning.”
  5.  Four tabs appear below the conference title. You can access Travel & Lodging and Contacts information by clicking on the appropriate tabs.  
  6.  Click on the Registration tab to begin the registration process. Then click on the “Register for Conference” button located on the left, above the listed sessions.  

  1. Click the “Add” button (located in the far left column) beside the Sessions you plan to attend.  Be careful to NOT choose overlapping sessions for the same time slot.  When the screen refreshes after adding a session, you may notice that it goes back to the beginning of the list of sessions.
  2. Scroll down the page and add the sessions you plan to attend. Please remember to indicate if you will be attending the lunches and dinner by adding it to your schedule. We need an accurate count.
  3. Once you have added all the sessions you wish to attend, go to the end of the list of Sessions and click the “Next” button.
  4. The next screen asks you to list any special requirements you may have or overnight needs. Enter any specific needs you have in the box to the right.
  5. The next screen has your MN.TRAIN account information.  Review and update, if needed, then click the “Next” button.
  6. The next screen states, “Registration Pending” and displays a summary of the conference and the sessions you have chosen to attend. Click the “Complete Registration” button at the bottom of the screen.   

  1. You are now registered for this conference on MN.TRAIN. You can click the “Printer Friendly” button to make a copy of the sessions you have chosen. You will receive a confirmation e-mail that you are registered for this conference.
  2. Click the “Save and Back” button at the bottom of the screen. Your Conference Registration Status will read: In Progress.  This status means the conference has not taken place yet but you are registered on MN.TRAIN. At this screen, you can Remove or Add sessions by clicking on the “Edit My Registration” button in the upper left hand corner under the In Progress status.  
  3. This screen also allows you to make changes and click the “Printer Friendly” button to make a copy of the sessions you have changed and chosen to attend.  
  4. To exit, click the “Back” button at the bottom of the screen.
