2010 Minnesota Tobacco Control Conference
The Minnesota Department of Health and the Minnesota Lung Association
hired The Odyssey Group to manage their annual Tobacco Control Conference.
Our involvement with this 2-day event began with finding a location and
negotiating a contract with the hotel and conference center. We are managing
the registration process, working with and contracting presenters, creating
an agenda, contacting sponsors and exhibitors, working with catering, acting
as the liaison with the conference center and planning committee and
handling all onsite registration and AV needs. At the end of the conference
we’ll wrap up the financial end of the conference and provide a detailed
report and tabulate all evaluations to prepare for next year’s conference.
