2010 Minnesota Development Conference
The Development Conference is a two-day event that includes a preconference
workshop. We were hired to manage many parts of the conference, including the
call for abstracts, presenter contracts and solicitation of sponsors and
exhibitors, along with overseeing the registration process and managing all
onsite processes. We facilitate the monthly board meeting and keep all board
members informed and involved in decision-making. The marketing materials
include the call for abstracts, postcard, registration brochure, conference
program, the call for proposals website, sponsorship and exhibitor brochures and
other collateral materials as needed. The program consists of plenary sessions
each day as well as breakout sessions and an event in the evening for
participants’ entertainment.
