CH Conference Alumni
Come on Back! Alumni of the “state and local
partnership” are invited to attend the 2009 Community Health Conference
Surviving and Thriving in Difficult Times that will be held October 1-2,
2009 at the Cragun’s Resort and Conference Center in Brainerd, MN.
Who Are the Alumni? Alumni includes directors,
administrators, consultants who have worked for local and state public
health, retired or past county commissioners….or, really anyone who has been
part of the work related to the Local Public Health Act 145A (aka the
Community Health Services Act). We invite both retirees and people who are
continuing their professional work in other venues to attend.
Why Attend? It will be an opportunity to catch up
with past colleagues, hear the “behind the scene” perspectives of recent
activities in public health and be a part of the discussions regarding
public health issues at hand.
Conference Costs! The other great news is that there
is no registration fee for the conference this year. You will be able to
attend free of charge! You will only be responsible for securing and
purchasing a one night lodging/meals package with Cragun’s. Although
there is no registration fee – everyone must pre-register.
Conference Registration / Cragun’s Reservations.
Online registration and reservations will open Friday, July 24th
on the CH Conference website –
www.togpartners.com/chc (a non MDH website).
Invitation Circulation! Please pass this invitation
and information on to all of your current and past public health partners.
We hope to see everyone at this year’s conference!
